A Walk Through Bethlehem

Walk-Thru Bethlehem is all about bringing His Story to life. Each December, Renewal Fellowship transforms into Bethlehem for one weekend and we invite all to come for FREE to experience the miracle of the Savior’s birth. Since 2017, Walk-Thru Bethlehem has been an annual event that includes a cast of 100 to 150 people. Visitors come from all different churches and communities to meander through the marketplace, visit King Herod’s throne room, and experience the wonder of a bit of what the stable might have been like on that night so long ago. 

This yearly project requires many volunteers coming together to make it happen but it has been a beautiful way for the whole community to be able to celebrate the Saviors birth. 

There’s nothing quite like going from the hustle and bustle of the noisy crowded market place out into the open night air hush and wonder of the humble stable with a tiny baby in the manger. Each year it is not unusual to find some folks lingering there, some with tears in their eyes as each one encounters the Greatest Gift of all.
