Latest Newsletter - January 2010

It is with joy and delight we come to you seven weeks or so into this new year and say how blessed we are to see this new decade start with such a burst of faith, energy and hope.  We are truly grateful to God for His hand on our lives, His Mighty ministering spirits, the angels of God around us and His Holy Spirit leading and guiding us.  Who could ask for MORE..???????  Thank You Jesus….!  

AROUND THE NATION

During these past several weeks God has had me (Dave) speak in pastors and leaders conferences and seminars in Bulawayo, Gweru and south of Masvingo as well as locally.  God had laid on my heart to encourage leaders, both in the church and in the marketplace, that this year 2010 was not the year to cut back, reduce or down-size but to step out and enlarge their tents, lengthen their cords and strengthen their stakes…!  This all came through prayer and a real sense that God was saying, tell this to my people.

Well, the miracle came the first morning of the new year at 5:00AM, before addressing our Men’s Warrior group, I downloaded my email before a likely ‘power-out’ and I receive an email from my son David in Rockford IL., who had no clue of what I was about to do, which says, in essence;  ‘Hi Dad, Happy New Year, I’ve been doing a little research on the Hebrew calendar and on the meaning of numbers in the Jewish culture, and you may be interested to know that this year 2010 in our calendar is the year 5770 in the Hebrew calendar and the meaning of the last three digits of this number, being 770 is… …’EXPAND OUTWARDS…!!!!!!’     I nearly had a Holy Ghost fit…!!!!!!!   What a confirmation of exactly what God had been sharing with me to tell His church leaders around the country….!  THANK YOU JESUS and thank you son…!

I don’t believe that this is God just speaking to His church in Zimbabwe but around the world, and for those who have been feeling, because of current national and global affairs, to cut-back, cut-down and reduce in their ventures and enterprises, His cry is, ‘Have faith, be strong and as you keep His Word in your heart, step out believing God will open doors that no man can open and make a way where there seems no way, and all you put your hands to will prosper and every place you go you will have good success….!’

It has been a delight to watch the expressions on the faces of leaders around the country as I have shared this word and the new level of faith and hope being ‘injected’ into their lives.  May You receive ALL the GLORY Lord…!

IN THE MARKETPLACE

For a while now we have been feeding our business men and women the principle of working on repairing, and getting God’s healing, in any areas of division, strife and brokenness in their marriage and home relationships and it has been wonderful to see, even in these very trying economic conditions, the improvement in profitability, production and sales in so many of those businesses.  The HOME is God’s KEY to MARKETPLACE and COMMUNITY STABILITY and DEVELOPMENT.  Thank You Lord…!

HOME AFFAIRS

The other tremendous blessing is the up-coming Joyce Meyers Ministry time here, together with Darlene Zschech and Hillsong, in early June.  We have the pleasure of housing Brad and Kate Senekal and their little daughter Bailey in our little two bed-roomed flat (which is our converted car garage..!).  Brad is one of the JMM management team from Cape Town SA and will be with us until after the crusade.  I have been blessed by the level of order and integrity displayed by the Joyce Meyer team in all of their planning and organizing for the events in June.  It is a pleasure to work with them and we know God is going to use Joyce and Darlene to minister life, and hope for the future, into Zimbabwe and her people.

We are praying that our immigration department will allow Colin and Laura Shreenen back into Zimbabwe, she was born here and they want to come back and work alongside us here.   Please join in prayer with us that the immigration dept. will in no way hinder their entry and or limit their stay.  Thank you for standing in faith with us.
