It is with great joy and much appreciation to our precious Lord for His goodness, provision and protection poured out upon us through this past month, and it goes without saying that it is only by your faithful support and prayer that we are able to touch lives and encourage people in this challenging place.
IN GENERAL
The after-glo of the Joyce Meyer celebration has been very encouraging, with a definite rise in the level of harmony and unity among churches across the board and a distinct sense of anticipation and expectation for the planned September celebration here with Angus Buckan and …… ‘ We know God has His Hand on this country and has things planned for us that, if we could see it all in the spirit, it would blow us all away….!!!!!’
Next to the nation of Israel, Zimbabwe probably holds the record of being brought down to a level, in a non war situation, that no other nation in the world has reached. And what has been in the hearts of many of God’s leaders here are those verses which speak of, the last being first and the least being the greatest….! As multitudes have faithfully stood in faith and believed God to bring these verses into effect, we are beginning to see the outworking of His plan to make this devastated nation, once again, the BREAD BASKET OF AFRICA and a testimony to the world….! God’s influence is more and more being seen in, both Government and marketplace, ventures. THANK YOU JESUS, AND MAY YOU LORD, GET ALL THE GLORY!
TO GOD BE THE GLORY
After several years of praying, ‘Lord, bring the sons and daughters of Zimbabwe back to their country of birth, to help re-build and restore it to its’ former glory,’ we have been so blessed to see how God is answering our prayers. Many families are being re-united and parents are seeing children, who swore they would never return to Zimbabwe, coming home, settling in and LOVING IT…!
We are so very excited that our son David and his family will be joining us at the end of the year and in addition Colin and Laura Shreenan are leaving Scotland to join our pastoral team here at Renewal, what a joy to behold these, young men and women of faith and vision, returning, bringing their Training, Experience and Expertise to sow into the country. BLESS YOU LORD!
CHURCH AND MINISTRY
We continue to press in and push forward with the Food production project but sometimes it’s like butting ones head against a brick wall trying to get either City authorities and or property dealers to make decisions. This is true especially when one does not have the cash or funding sufficient for an outright purchase and is needing the property holders to see the project as a blessing to the community that will provide home owners and dwellers to hugely enhance their food production and alleviate much of the hardship and pain many have suffered through lack .
Your prayer for this will be much appreciated and may the Lord bless you as you stand in faith and in agreement with us for the timely fulfillment of this project. Thank you.
Although we now use the US$ as our currency it has made everything so very expensive and folks are struggling to make ends meet but having lived through having nothing in our shops we have learnt to rely on Him for everything and this is still happening as many things are now unaffordable.
We rejoice at the completion of our Youth Centre Mini Mall at the church which includes a coffee shop, library, games room, auditorium seating and stage, computer learning center and board/classroom. Certain items of furniture and equipment are still needed but we know God will provide that the young folk can have a beautiful Christian ‘hang-out’ where they can both, learn work skills, and have fun. AGAIN LORD, YOU GET ALL THE GLORY.
In His Love,
